About us
About Cleaningia
Cleaningia is a Melbourne commercial cleaning company built around jobs that have to be right on the day: handover cleans for builders, restoring worn floors, clearing graffiti, and getting properties ready to vacate or sell. This page is for builders, property managers, agents and business owners who want to know who they would be dealing with before they book. It covers who we are, why we chose the hard jobs, what we hold on paper and how to get a price. For the short version of what we do, start with our Melbourne cleaning company overview.
Who we are
Who is Cleaningia?
Cleaningia is a Melbourne commercial cleaning company that takes on specialist and deadline work: construction cleaning from the rough clean to handover, floor care including stripping and resealing vinyl, graffiti removal, and cleans for vacating, selling and events. We are a cleaning business and nothing else, with no facilities management or product sales on the side.
Most of the people who book us are builders and site managers, property and building managers, real estate agents, and business owners who need a space ready by a set date. They are usually busy, they have often been let down before, and they want one thing from a cleaner: not having to check the work twice.
So we run jobs in a way that is easy to check. Each one starts with a written scope, each crew has a supervisor on site who knows that scope, and each job ends with a walk-through where you or your site manager tick it off. Anything missed is fixed before we leave, not after a round of emails the following week.
We work right across Greater Melbourne, from apartment towers in the CBD and Southbank to new estates in the western, northern and south-eastern growth areas. Most of the work is commercial. The residential jobs we take on are specialist ones, such as after builders cleans on renovations, vacate cleans and pre-sale presentation.
What working with us looks like
- One contact from quote to sign-off, so you never explain the job twice.
- Exclusions written into the scope, not discovered on the day.
- Changes priced in writing before extra work starts.
- Photos of the finished areas sent with the signed scope.

Why hard jobs
Why does Cleaningia focus on hard cleaning jobs?
Because that is where a cleaning company makes the most difference. A builders clean, a floor strip or a vacate has a clear finish line and a real cost if it is missed, and it needs skills and machines that a regular cleaning round never touches.
There is a finish line
A handover inspection, a condition report or an open for inspection is a fixed test. The site either passes or it doesn't, which makes it easy for you to judge whether we did the job.
The skills are specific
Stripping vinyl, lifting paint from brick without scarring it and cleaning around trades on a live site all take training, the right chemicals and the right machines. We keep those skills in our own crews.
Mistakes cost money
A missed defect can hold up practical completion, a poor vacate can end in a bond dispute, and a dusty listing photo can cost a campaign weeks. We plan around those risks from the quote onwards.
Builders cleans sit at the centre of it. They are our main service and they draw on everything we do, from debris removal and dust control to floor finishing and glass. If you are planning a project, the page on builders cleaning in Melbourne shows how we stage the work against a build programme.
Choosing hard jobs also means turning some work down. We don't take on weekly house cleaning, asbestos or biohazard work, or anything at height that needs access equipment we don't run. Saying no early is better for you than a crew arriving without the right gear, and it keeps our people doing the work they are trained for.
Credentials
What credentials does Cleaningia hold?
Cleaningia is ABN registered, holds public liability insurance and sends crews onto construction sites with WorkSafe Victoria white cards. Our cleaners also hold national police checks. The paperwork your site needs goes out with the quote, and we only list credentials we can show you.
| Credential | What it means for you | Ask us for |
|---|---|---|
| ABN registration | You are dealing with a registered Australian business. Any ABN can be checked on the government's ABN Lookup. | Our ABN on the quote and invoice |
| Public liability insurance | Cover if our work damages property or injures someone on your site. | A current certificate of currency |
| Construction induction (white card) | Needed for construction work in Victoria, and only issued after face-to-face white card training. | Card details for each crew member |
| National police checks | A national police check for cleaners working in occupied offices, homes and venues. | Written confirmation before the job |
| Site inductions and SWMS | Crews sign on to your site rules and the principal contractor's safe work method statements. | Signed induction and SWMS records |
Whoever you hire, it is worth checking the paperwork properly rather than taking a logo on a website at face value. Make sure the certificate of currency names the business you are paying and has not expired, check that the ABN on the quote matches the name on the invoice, and for construction work ask who will actually be on site and whether their white cards are current. We expect those questions and would rather you ask them.
You won't find award badges, star ratings or "since" dates on this site. We would rather be judged on work we can show you. When we have client feedback and job photos to share, they will go up here with each client's permission.
Get a quote
How do you get a quote from Cleaningia?
Use our quote form to tell us where the site is, what kind of clean it needs, roughly how big it is and your deadline. We usually reply within one business day, and bigger or unusual jobs get a site visit before we put a price on them.
- Tell us about the jobGive us the address, the type of clean, the size and the date. Photos and plans speed things up.
- We scope itSmall jobs are priced from what you send; bigger ones get a visit. Either way you receive a written scope.
- You approve, we bookOnce you accept the scope and price, we lock in the date and the supervisor who will run the job.
When a job needs a visit, the supervisor who will run it is usually the one who comes out. They walk every area with you, measure what matters, check power, water and bin access, and note anything that needs a particular product or machine, such as old sealer on vinyl or paint on soft brick. What they find goes straight into the scope, so the quote reflects the site you actually have rather than a guess made from the street.
There is no cost or obligation in asking, and the fuller the picture, the tighter the price. When you are ready, request a written quote and tell us the deadline you are working to. If the date is tight, say so up front; a handover next week is a different conversation from one next month, and we would rather plan it properly than promise something we cannot staff.
